By creating a Maaliyad account you agree to these terms. Maaliyad is provided by Maaliyad.
The service
Maaliyad is a tool to record and organise your own money: income, expenses, accounts, debts and reports. It is not a bank, does not hold or move your money, and is not financial, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record.
Your account
Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account and for the staff you add to your business. Tell us quickly if you think someone else has used your account.
Plans and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars on the Pricing page before you pay.
- For now you pay by mobile money to our merchant number; your plan starts when we confirm the payment arrived. A payment we cannot find is not accepted.
- Paid plans run for one month or one year and must be renewed. If you do not renew, after a short grace period your account moves to the Free plan. Your records are not deleted.
- We may change prices for future periods. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Fair use
Do not use Maaliyad for anything illegal, to try to break into other accounts, or to overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Maaliyad available and your data safe, and we keep backups, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. Keep your own copies of important records (Reports → Download CSV). To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last three months.
